Refunds & Cancellations

Effective date: September 16, 2026

Provern’s operational platform is under construction and is not yet available to the public. The policy below governs subscriptions to the Provern platform once it becomes available. See the homepage for Provern LLC’s current status.

All sales are final

Provern LLC subscriptions are non-refundable, and all sales are final. Subscription fees are payable in advance and are earned when access is provided. Provern LLC does not provide refunds, prorated refunds, partial refunds, credits, or reimbursements for the current or any prior subscription period, whether based on partial use, non-use, change of mind, dissatisfaction, or a subsequent decision not to continue the subscription.

Why business intelligence is not refundable

The Provern platform is a business-intelligence product. It delivers data, analytics, benchmarks, and reports that a subscriber can view, export, and retain from the moment access is granted. Business intelligence is not a returnable good: once accessed, the information has been delivered in full — it is retained by the subscriber’s own knowledge and by any data the subscriber has viewed, downloaded, or built into their own workflows — and it does not become un-delivered when the subscription ends. A refund on delivered information would allow a subscriber to obtain the full value of the product on inspection and then reclaim payment. This is the standard commercial position for business-information and market-data products — financial-data terminals, market-research subscriptions, and legal-research databases — and it is Provern’s position for the same reason.

Your acceptance at checkout

Because this is a material term of your subscription, your acceptance is affirmative and specific. Before you can complete the purchase, you check a box (or, in the case of an enterprise order form, sign an order form) confirming that you have read this policy and agree that all fees are non-refundable and all sales are final. Provern LLC records this acknowledgment together with your order. If you do not agree to this policy, do not check the box, do not sign the order form, and do not complete the purchase.

Cancelling your subscription

You may cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, use the cancellation option in your account (where available) or contact support@provern.info before your next renewal date.

When you cancel:

Cancellation is how you end your subscription. It is not a refund.

Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price at the end of each billing period — monthly for monthly plans, annually for annual plans — until cancelled. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel before your renewal date. See Pricing & Billing for how recurring billing works.

One-time Brief purchases

Briefs are one-time purchases of a specific dated PDF report; they are not subscriptions and do not renew. Access to a purchased Brief is granted to your account immediately after payment and the PDF is downloadable for 90 days from the date of purchase. If a Brief you have purchased is materially incomplete or contains a confirmed data error affecting its findings, contact support@provern.info within 14 days of purchase for a corrected report or a full refund to your original payment method. Outside that 14-day corrected-or-refund window, all sales of Briefs are final; this reflects the same reason subscriptions are non-refundable — the report’s findings are delivered on download and cannot be un-viewed.

Chargebacks

The no-refund policy is a material term of your agreement with Provern LLC, affirmatively accepted at checkout. Filing a chargeback with your card issuer in circumvention of this policy — for example, disputing a validly charged, successfully delivered subscription fee — is a breach of the agreement. In response to such a chargeback, Provern LLC will (i) contest the chargeback with evidence of the agreement, of your affirmative acceptance of this policy, and of the service delivered to you; (ii) recover the amount of the chargeback and any associated bank or processor fees; and (iii) suspend or terminate your access and pursue any amounts owed through applicable collection channels. The correct channel to end future charges is cancellation, described above, not a chargeback.

Billing errors

This policy concerns refunds for services provided; it does not affect the correction of genuine billing errors. A billing error is a mechanical mistake — for example, a duplicate charge, an incorrect amount, or a charge after a validly filed cancellation — and is not the same as a refund request. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@provern.info within 60 days of the charge and Provern LLC will investigate and correct any verified error.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have that cannot be waived or excluded under applicable law.
