Provern’s operational platform is under construction and is not yet available to the public. This Policy describes how Provern LLC handles information both on this website and, once available, in the Provern subscription service. See the homepage for Provern LLC’s current status.
This Privacy Policy describes how Provern LLC handles information in connection with this website (provern.info), the Provern subscription platform and related services (the “Service”), and any communications you send to Provern LLC through the contact information listed here.
Provern does not collect, receive, process, transmit, or store Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Provern is not a covered entity or a business associate. The Service works with aggregate market and pricing information derived from publicly available and lawfully obtained commercial datasets, not patient records. You should not submit PHI or other regulated personal health information to the Service.
This website (provern.info) is a static informational site. Provern LLC does not collect personal information through this website by design. The website does not use cookies for advertising, analytics, or profiling; does not integrate third-party analytics or marketing platforms; and does not include forms that collect personal information directly.
If you contact Provern LLC at the mailing address or support email address listed on the homepage, Provern LLC will receive the information you choose to include in that correspondence.
The Service supports account creation and sign-in through third-party identity providers, currently Google (via Google OAuth) and Microsoft. When you sign in through one of these providers, Provern LLC receives the following information from the provider on your behalf:
Provern LLC uses this information solely to (i) create and maintain your user account, (ii) authenticate you when you access the Service, (iii) associate your activity within the Service with the correct account, and (iv) send administrative communications (such as account notifications, security alerts, and billing correspondence) to the email address associated with your account. Provern LLC does not receive your identity provider password and does not use the information for advertising, profiling, or transfer to third parties for their marketing purposes.
Provern LLC retains account and sign-in information for the life of your account and for such further period as is reasonably necessary to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time by contacting Provern LLC at the address below.
To purchase a Provern subscription, you provide payment information through Provern’s payment processor, Stripe, Inc. Payment card details are entered on secure pages served over HTTPS and are transmitted directly to Stripe, which is a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Provern LLC does not collect or store your full card number, CVC, or other sensitive payment credentials on its own systems. From Stripe, Provern LLC receives transaction-level information necessary to fulfill and support your subscription — for example, the subscription plan purchased, the amount charged, the currency, the transaction identifier, a partial (masked) card indicator, and billing name and address as required for tax and record-keeping purposes. Stripe’s handling of payment data is governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
When you use the Service, Provern LLC records the queries you run, the data views and reports you access, and standard technical information about the request (such as timestamps and user-agent), for the purposes of operating the Service, providing customer support, billing and metering, security monitoring, and improving the Service. This information is associated with your account.
Provern LLC’s hosting providers may automatically log request information, including IP address, timestamp, request path, and user agent, for security and operational purposes. These logs are not used for marketing or profiling.
When an account holder or authorized recipient enrolls a mobile phone number for authentication and administrative SMS from Provern LLC, Provern LLC collects and stores the mobile phone number and a record of consent, and uses them solely to deliver the authentication and administrative messages described in Provern LLC’s SMS program. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile phone numbers may be shared with Provern LLC’s telecommunications service provider (currently Twilio Inc.) strictly for the purpose of delivering the messages, and with law enforcement or in response to legal process where required by applicable law. A phone number is retained for the life of the authorized enrollment; the recipient may terminate the enrollment at any time by replying STOP to any message received, at which point the number is removed from the active list.
Provern’s operational platform, once available, uses cookies strictly necessary to operate the Service — for example, to maintain your signed-in session, to remember basic preferences, and to protect against fraud. Provern does not use cookies for advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking. This website (provern.info) does not set cookies for those purposes either. Provern does not allow other parties to collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use this website or the Service.
Information you provide by contacting Provern LLC, by signing in to the Service, or through the course of a subscription is used solely to respond to your inquiry, provide requested services, maintain and secure your account, bill for and collect payment for the Service, comply with legal obligations, or as otherwise necessary for the ordinary operation of Provern LLC’s business. Provern LLC does not sell personal information and does not share personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Provern LLC may disclose personal information only when necessary to operate the business (service providers under confidentiality obligations, such as the third-party identity providers, payment processor, telecommunications provider, and hosting providers Provern LLC uses to operate the Service), when required by applicable law or legal process, to protect the rights of Provern LLC or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business.
Provern LLC maintains administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information it holds against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. All web pages that carry account or payment information are served over HTTPS. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and Provern LLC cannot guarantee absolute security.
Provern LLC retains personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with legal obligations, or to resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Payment and transaction records are retained for the period required by applicable tax, accounting, and financial-services law.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights with respect to your personal information, including rights to access, correct, or delete it. To exercise any of these rights, send correspondence to Provern LLC at support@provern.info or to the mailing address listed on the homepage.
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction), and Provern LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Provern LLC may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above indicates when it was most recently revised.
Privacy-related correspondence should be sent to support@provern.info or to the mailing address listed on the homepage.
